1 - Alan Julian 
Goalkeeper 

Alan joined Stevenage in February 2005 from Brentford to replace Andy Woodman after excelling in a reserve game at MK Dons. The goalkeeper made 16 appearances for the West London club in his five years at Griffin Park, but was deemed surplus to requirements by new manager Martin Allen. Julian was outstanding in his 17 appearances in his debut season and continued that excellent form earning the Supporters Player of the Year award in his first year at Broadhall Way.  
   
    3 - Freddie Murray 
Defender 

After beginning his career with Blackburn Rover, Murray made his League debut in December 2001 on loan at Cambridge United. His move to Cambridge became a permanent one in March 2002 and he made a total of 88 Football League appearances for the Abbey Stadium club. He moved to Northampton Town in summer 2004 for an undisclosed fee, but his progress was hampered by injury and illness. He joined Stafford Rangers in August 2007 and left at the end of December 2007 to join Stevenage Borough 
   
    4 - Luke Oliver 
Defender 

Mark Stimson appointed the towering centre defender captain prior to the start of the campaign. He was signed for £15,000 just before the end of the January 2006 transfer window closed from Yeovil Town, which was going through a period of selling off players. Impressive during his stint at Woking both prior to his move to Yeovil, and again after being loaned back. Playing a handfull of games at the end of the 2007-07 season as a striker, including the FA Trophy final at Wembley, but has since reverted to his more familiar centre back berth.  
   
    6 - Ashley Westwood 
Defender 

Westwood, a 31-year-old defender with a good pedigree and the reputation as a creative centre back, joined Borough from Chester City in January 2008. The Bridgnort- born defender started his career as a trainee at Manchester United, winning the FA Youth Cup in 1995, before Crewe boss Dario Gradi paid £40,000 to take him to Gresty Road. After more than 100 appearances for the Railwaymen he moved to Bradford City for £150,000 and spent two years with the Yorkshire club in the top flight. Spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Northampton Town followed before he joined Chester. Westwood has amassed over 270 league appearances, scoring 21 goals. 
   
    7 - Mark Molesley 
Midfield 

The combative midfielder was snapped up by Stimson after rejecting the offer of a new contract at Conference rivals Aldershot. Described as a 'box to box' player, he previously played alongside Craig Dobson at Cambridge City. The England non-league international has been long sought after by Stimson and will add competition to a strong looking Borough midfield.  
   
    10 - Tyrone Berry 
Midfield/Forward 

Tyrone Berry started his career as a youngster at Crystal Palace. He came through the youth system and played reserve team football for the Eagles. Unfortunately, first team opportunities did not come about and he was allowed to leave and sign for Rushden & Diamonds. He was released by Rushden and was trialling at Wycombe where he was spotted by Taylor who moved quickly to sign the pacey winger who will add competition for places.  
   
    11 - Mitchell Cole 
Midfield 

Cole, a left-winger, was at Norwich City's Centre of Excellence at Potters Bar, but when the centre was closed he joined West Ham, however, injury problems limited his ability to play professional football. He then joined Grays Athletic where he was selected for the England semi-professional side. He returned to league football in mid-July 2005 joining neighbours Southend United who paid the Conference new boys a club record fee. After a loan spell at Northampton, Cole made the move to Broadhall Way in January 2007 to rejoin Mark Stimson.  
   
    12 - Lawrie Wilson 
Defender/Midfield 

A versatile player, equally comfortably at right back or right-side midfield, Wilson was signed for Stevenage Borough at the start of the 2007-08 campaign by previous manager Mark Stimson from Championship side Colchester United. 
   
    13 - James Russell 
Goalkeeper 

(Currently on loan at Canvey Island) A product of the Chelsea youth system Russell joined Stevenage Borough as cover for Alan Julian at the start of the 2007 season. He made his debut in an FA Cup tie at Salisbury City.  
   
    14 - Daryl McMahon 
Midfield 

The former West Ham United junior signed during the January 2007 transfer window to add creativity to the engine room. A cultured player equally comfortable with either foot, he is at home taking set pieces or firing long-range efforts on goal. The Ireland born McMahon spent six years as a junior at West Ham before briefly joining Port Vale. A move back to London and Leyton Orient soon ensued where he made 63 appearances in two years.  
   
    15 - John Martin 
Midfield 

Signed from Grays Athletic shortly before Borough's FA Trophy victory at Wembley, John Martin became Stimson's first summer signing in May 2007, agreeing a two-year deal. Having played under him at Grays, Stimson was keen for Martin to join to score goals and add strength to Borough's midfield. Formerly with Leyton Orient, he was converted from winger to a central midfield role under Stimson and became a key player in Gray’s success.  
   
    18 - Jack Bradshaw 
Defender 

(Currently on loan at Maidenhead United) A product of the Stevenage Borough Academy and EFCO scheme Bradshaw was awarded a contract at Stevenage late in 2006. Originally a striker Bradshaw was converted to a fullback by the youth coaches and has not looked back since.  
   
    19 - Sammy Moore 
Midfield 

Sammy Moore joined Ipswich as a 16-year old after being released by Cheslea and played for the successful Ipswich FA youth Cup winning team in 2005. He made his Ipswich debut in the 3-1 victory over Sunderland on the September 23, 2006 as a substitute for Matt Richards. Enjoyed a successful loan spell at Griffin Park, playing 24 games for Brentford in all competitions and scoring two goals. Joined Stevenage during the January transfer window, on loan until the end of the season.  
   
    20 - Steve Morison 
Forward 

Steve Morison arrived at Broadhall Way early in the 2006-07 season after catching Mark Stimson's eye in his free scoring spell at Hertfordshire rivals, Bishop's Stortford. Morison started his career at Northampton Town, Morison has experience of playing (and scoring) in the Football League. The lethal striker ended the season with 34 goals including the winner in the FA trophy final.   
   
    24 - Jerome Anderson 
Striker 

After scoring 33 goals in Oxford United’s league winning youth team Anderson was surprisingly not offered a contract by the club, which was good news for Stevenage. The talented youngster impressed in pre-season action and manager Mark Stimson was quick to offer the speedy striker a contract at Broadhall Way.  
   
    25 - Ronnie Henry 
Defender 

Joined Stevenage in January 2005, and although he only secured his place in the side late in the season, Henry was one of the most influential players as Borough made a late run for the play-offs. The Hemel Hempstead born centre back was a Spurs trainee for two years, and during that time played three times for Southend United while on loan. The centre back has topped the 100 appearance mark and finally got on the scoresheet last season.  
   
    28 - Scott Laird 
Defender 

19-year-old Scott Laird, arrived from Plymouth Argyle, initially on a one-month loan deal. Laird began his career as a trainee at Plymouth, making his debut earlier this season in his side’s 2-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers. Initially a centre back, who could also play left back, Laird has recently played in central midfield, where he made his debut for the senior side. The youngster also had loans spells at Tiverton Town and earlier this season Blue Square Premier rivals Torquay United.  
   
    29 - Callum Willock 
Forward 

London-born Willock joined Stevenage in the January 2008 transfer window after turning down a new contract at League One Port Vale. He began his career as a youth player at Fulham, playing on loan at QPR, Bristol Rovers and Peterborough United, before making the move to London Road permanent in December 2003 for £25,000. He left Peterborough for Brentford in January 2006 and moved on to Port Vale 12 months later.  
   
    33 - Peter Vincenti 
Midfield 

The 21-year-old, can play as an attacking midfielder or up front, earned a contract with Millwall for the 2007 season after impressing manager Willie Donachie in a pre-season trial. After Donachie’s departure from the club Vincenti was allowed to move to Stevenage in the January 2008 transfer window. Vincenti was Jersey footballer of the year in 2007 playing for the island’s champions St Peters.
