In response to the Flexi Ticket scheme, Webnews asked Phil Wallace (PW) some questions for clarification.

Q: Can anyone buy Flexi Tickets?

PW :No, from this season (2007/8) only members of the Supporters Association (SA) can purchase Flexi Tickets

Q: Can Juniors and Concessions buy Flexi Tickets?

PW: Yes, there are three classes - adult, concession and Junior. Obviously when presented at the gate to gain entry the ticket must match the holder. So an adult must have an adult Flexi Ticket and a Concession or Junior must be just that. Flexi Tickets are no different from normal entry - they are just £1 cheaper than normal entry.

Q: Are Flexi Tickets are transferable, can I can buy them as a gift?

PW: Yes again. As long as the ticket matches the status of the person seeking entry, it doesn't matter who the holder is. So for example a SA member can purchase them for a friend if he wishes.

Q: Is there a limit on how many Flexi Tickets a person can buy

PW: Yes, no one person can buy more than 24 games worth of Flexi Tickets

Q: Can they be used for cup matches?

PW: No, as always cup games are all pay. We are not permitted to discount cup or play off games for home fans, as revenue is shared with the opposition.

Q: What about the Pro Pass and cheaper entry for Kids.

PW: The Pro Pass hasn't really worked so has been stopped. It was a good idea that we thought would be taken up by youngsters but with the increased amount of free matches and reducing the normal entry price for Juniors, it's had it's day.

We are very active in donating free tickets to schools and local groups and we'll continue to increase this.

We've also increased the definition of Junior to 'Under 16' to prolong the reduced entry price. We've made it simpler to bring more than one junior into the ground with an adult - they can now bring a friend and pay a heavily discounted price for the additional junior and, of course, we've ensured that Junior Flexi Tickets are available to reduce costs for regular fans.

Flexi Tickets are aimed at rewarding regular supporters so that they can watch home games for less.

Flexi Tickets are '£1 off' tickets purchased in books of 3, 6 and 12 that can be used at any time, by any person. Flexi Tickets are simple, they are quick, they are convenient and they can be used for the game of the owners choice, by anyone the owner chooses''.

Flexi Tickets can only be purchased by members of the Supporters Association and are available in the Club Shop.
