GREAT DEBUT FOR NEW SIGNING ROBERTS

Phil Wallace saw his first home game today for over a month after he returned from the USA yesterday.

"It was great to be back at Broadhall Way. I've listened to the games live whilst I've been in the States and flew back for the FA cup game at Leicester, but nothing beats being at a home match."

"I'm not sure what I expected to see after the doom and gloom being thrown around on websites but I was very pleased with the team performance today. Normally if we lose I'm not the best company for a day or two, especially if I've watched it live. But today was different - I enjoyed the game and I saw a good team performance. Mark Roberts had a great debut, Peter Vincenti had a great game, Ronnie was solid as a rock, Calum scored a cracker and Mitchell worked his socks off. I came away strangely satisfied, which I don't think has happened too many times when we've lost at home!"

"The key thing for me was that I saw a desire to win the game and a determination from each player to work hard for the team all over the pitch. We didn't deserve to lose and, but for a poor refereeing decision and a deflection, were good value for a draw and could have wrapped the game up if our finishing had been better in the first half."

"Graham, John and Dino can build on this now. We've identified 1 or 2 that we want in the transfer window and if we continue to put in performances like that then we'll start to get back in it."
