Stevenage host Wycombe Wanderers this coming Wednesday evening at Broadhall Way, kick-off 7pm, in the first reserve fixture of the 2008/9 season. Graham Westley will field many of his first-team squad players, but at least six of the new School of Excellence under-18 squad are likely to be included.

Unavailable for the game will be Dave Bridges (foot) and John Martin (eye infection), whilst Mitchell Cole is expected to resume training this week.

Meanwhile five of Stevenage Borough's young pros have gone out on loan to gain first-team match experience. Scott Balderson and Zak Burke have been loaned to Bognor Regis Town, George Brinkman to Arlseley Town, Eliot Buchanan to Boreham Wood and Jack Bradshaw to Maidenhead United.
