NEW HOME SHIRT AND GATE PRICE CHANGES

Stevenage today unveiled plans to categorise home games next season rather than increase admission prices across the board and also confirmed that a new home strip will be launched in time for the first home game of the 2009/2010 campaign. Pictures of the new strip will be published in July.

The following home games will have admission increased by £1.00 in all sectors of the stadium.

AFC Wimbledon, Oxford United, Cambridge United, Rushden and Diamonds, Wrexham, Luton, Mansfield and Kidderminster.

The club intends to continue it’s promotional activities from time to time throughout 2009/2010

Chairman Phil Wallace said “The league is changing each season and it’s now a completely different level of competition to the one that existed some years ago. All the teams selected have been Football League clubs in the not too distant past, with AFC Wimbledon of course being reborn from the old Wimbledon FC.  We intend to continue to discount some games and promote free entry to youngsters in others, so this is a way of balancing out our income over the season and avoiding an across the board price increase”
