A second batch of Away tickets were sent to Cambridge United today, with a further 250 seats set aside for visiting fans. This will bring the total of away tickets issued to 1650.
Chairman Phil Wallace said "We're issuing these additional tickets at Cambridge's request and on police advice as we understood from Cambridge that there may be extra travelling fans, over and above the 1400 tickets we've issued. We would rather those fans see the game than be locked out and the policy worked OK with Oxford, but the message to away fans now, as before, is still please don't travel if you don't have a ticket. The match will be policed and if away fans are identified in the home sectors they will be ejected from the stadium"
Cambridge are currently in 2nd position and Stevenage will be hoping to close the gap to secure a play off place. |
